I am reporting a database constraint bug encountered in the Account Details section of the latest early access build.
The Problem:
During the initial onboarding/SMS scanning setup, I opted to sync an older, currently unused bank account because I wanted to preserve its historical transaction records within the app. However, when attempting to remove or unlink this specific account from the 'Accounts' dashboard, the action fails and triggers a database exception.
Error Encountered:
Exception: SqliteException(787): while executing statement. FOREIGN KEY constraint failed. constraint failed (code...)
Feature/Fix Suggestions:
Implement an "Archive/Hide" Feature: Instead of a hard delete that forces the deletion of historical data, please provide an option to "Hide from Dashboard" or "Archive Account". This will keep the balance hidden from active views while preserving the underlying transaction history intact.
Graceful Exception Handling: Update the database layer to handle this constraint gracefully instead of exposing raw SQLite exceptions via toast/banners to the end-user.
Looking forward to this stability fix in the next beta release.
Best regards,
